About Pathologie Medica Enge
Pathologie Medica Enge is one of Switzerland’s market-leading pathology institutes and offers morphological investigations for tissue and cell samples from all organ systems. Our team covers the entire spectrum of pathology and meets the highest diagnostics requirements thanks to state-of-the-art processes.
We work in accordance with up-to-date, certified and quality-assured standards and participate in interdisciplinary networks through tumour boards and collaborations with clinical institutions.
To ensure optimal patient care, we strive for swift processing of samples and communication of findings. Processing times are 12-24 hours for histological investigation of biopsies, depending on when the samples are received, 2-3 working days for larger surgical specimens, 12-24 hours in general for cytological findings, 2 hours for findings requiring a fast turnaround and 3-6 working days for molecular pathology analyses.
