Quality and certification
Our Pathology department stands for high-quality laboratory analysis and diagnostics. We achieve this through our sense of commitment to a quality policy that is universally recognised by the management and employees. In addition to the continuous monitoring of workflows, processes are regularly adapted to meet requirements. Our analysis and diagnostics are always based on the latest scientific and technological developments.
The Pathology department is accredited in accordance with ISO 15189:2022. Information on the accredited analyses for the Pathology department can be found on the homepage of the Swiss Accreditation Service.
We undertake to participate regularly in both external interlaboratory tests and internal quality controls.
We monitor the measurement accuracy of our methods by means of internal quality controls and external interlaboratory tests.
Pathologie Medica Enge is recognised as a category C SIWF training centre for pathology and a category A SIWF training centre for cytology and molecular pathology.
All subcontracted analyses are carried out by partner laboratories that are accredited or meet the legal requirements for carrying out analyses (e.g. participation in interlaboratory tests). We regularly review these conditions and will be happy to provide you with more detailed information on request.
